Kolkata - Haldia Dock Complex (HDC) under Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata, has reported a robust container handling performance for January–November 2025, showcasing strong operational resilience and a clear upward growth trajectory.

The year began on a promising note, with January handling 20,113 TEUs, setting an early benchmark. Although volumes softened in April to 12,545 TEUs—the lowest point of the year—the port staged a steady recovery from May onward, driven by improved operational efficiency, stronger cargo flows and enhanced service reliability.
