AHMEDABAD: The stage is set to raise the curtain tomorrow to celebrate the Gujarat Star Awards organized by Daily Shipping Times, scheduled on October 13, 2012 at The Grand Bhagwati, Ahmedabad.
The Gujarat Star Awards, an award which itself creates a difference from others, where shipping industry professionals meets together to applaud the performances of the industry over the last year.
These Awards, are an effort to recognize to honour and acknowledge the contributions made by individuals and organizations to the industry in the Gujarat region.
Eminent personalities from the industry all over the Gujarat and Mumbai will join together to share their knowledge here this evening.
Dr. P D Vaghela, IAS, Chairman, Kandla Port Trust (KPT) and Mr. Anil Devli, CEO, Indian National Ship Owners Association (INSA) will be the Guest of Honour at the event.
Mr. Shantanu Bhadkamkar, FFFAI President will be present to grace the occasion.
The Jury Chairman Prof. G. Raghuram, Vice Chancellor, Indian Maritime University, along with the other jury members will also be present.
