Pankaj Kumar to grace as Chief Guest, Dr. P. D. Vaghela & Anil Devli as Guest of Honour 

 

AHMEDABAD/ MUMBAI: Gujarat Star Awards is deemed to be the most awaited function, organized by Daily Shipping Times which is to be held on October 13 at The Grand Bhagwati, Ahmedabad.

 

The glittering function will honour and acknowledge the contributions made by individuals and organizations to the industry.

 

The event, which will pay tribute and recognize the triumphs of the awardees, will be graced by Mr. Pankaj Kumar, IAS, Vice-Chairman and CEO of Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) who will be the Chief Guest at the event. Dr. P D Vaghela, IAS, Chairman, Kandla Port Trust (KPT) and Mr. Anil Devli, CEO, Indian National Ship Owners Association (INSA) will be the Guest of Honour at the event.

 

The filing of Nomination by the companies had very good response. More than 150 nominations which were received itself a record breaking and the quality of nomination filed for the 45 award categories  for GUJARAT STAR AWARDS. There is keen anticipation to know who have been the star performers and pathbreaking stalwarts in the industry during the last fiscal and beyond. Innovation was displayed in abundance, astute investments were highlighted for all to see and companies of all sizes from all sectors did their best to ensure that their proudest achievements will be recognised for the entire industry to see, come October 13.
