AHMEDABAD : Gujarat Maritime Board gets the Best Display Award at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show 2013 at the Valedictory Function and Awards Ceremony organized at the Helipad Grounds, Gandhinagar.

 

The award presented by Shri Nitin Patel, Hon’ble Minister for Finance, Government of Gujarat was received by Mr. Pankaj Kumar, IAS, Vice Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Gujarat Maritime Board.

 

The mega event, which had Japan and Canada as partner countries also witnessed participation from many other countries. During the 6 day long exhibition, which started on January 08, 2013, over 20 lakh visitors thronged the venue where over 1200 exhibitors had showcased more than 10000 products and services.  GMB’s pavilion, that had displayed a theme of double stack containers showcasing not only an unique design, but also  displaying  the maritime timelines and the world maritime history along with the proactive initiatives  taken by the port sector in Gujarat, was a huge crowd puller.
