GANDHIDHAM: Shri Govada Rajendra Vara Prasada Rao assumed the charge of post of Traffic Manager of DPT on 15th April, 2021. Before joining Deendayal Port Trust, he was Sr.Dy. Traffic Manager of Visakhapatnam Port Trust.

Shri Prasada Rao  did PG Degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management and BL from Andhra University. He started his professional career in the Port Sector in the year 1993 as Personnel Officer (Class-I) in the Dock Labour Board of Visakhapatnam Port Trust and put in more than 27 years of service in various capacities so far.

Shri Prasada Rao has wide knowledge and exposure in the areas of Cargo Handling Operations, Administration, IR/HRM and labour welfare. His vast experience and expertise in Port Sector will be highly gainful to DPT.
