NAVI MUMBAI: EIC – Exim Integrated Club, as part of their “Stay Fit! Stay Safe” campaign presented and installed “Foot Operated Hand Sanitizer Stands with Sanitizers” at Jawaharlal Nehru Customs House, Nhava Sheva on 2nd June’2020 with the permission & support of Commissioner Of Customs, General – Shri. Sanjay Mahendru. Chief Commissioner Of Customs Shri. Rajiv Talwar, thanked & applauded EIC for their selfless efforts for installing these “Hand Sanitizing Stands” at all floors. EIC’s efforts were also appreciated by Commissioners Of Customs Shri. Rajesh Kumar Mishra, Shri. S.K.Vimalnathan and Shri. Sunil Kumar Mall - who used these sanitizers while entering EDI Service Center for inspection.

EIC have installed 10 “Foot Operated Hand Sanitizing Stands with Sanitizers” at all critical points across JNCH which attract maximum footfalls – Ground Floor Front & Rear Entrance’s, 2nd Floor – Asst./Dy. Commissioners Section, 3rd, 4th 5th Floor – Appraiser & Group Sections, and EDI Service Center to ensure safety of all visitors irrespective of their stakeholder status – Owners, Employees & Officials everyone have a right to “Safety!” We request all visitors to JNCH to kindly make use of these “Sanitizing Stands” to ensure not just your “Safety” but also of all those officials working there – it is our collective responsibility to “Stay Safe! Stay Fit!”

On an average JNCH attract minimum 700-800 visitors every day with the maximum being at Ground Floor, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th Floors. While efforts from JNCH Officials have been excellent in insuring compliance of Safety and Social Distancing, EIC’s support by installing these Hand Sanitizing Stands at all key areas would help tremendously in effective sanitization of visitors. EIC also plans to install these stands at all the CFS’s within JNCH to further support the CFS’s in effectively maintain safety by sanitization thereby not just helping visitors – mostly CB’s staff, as well as their own staff.

The Security team & CISF both have appreciated this gesture of EIC and supported in ensuring effective compliance. They said “This save us a lot of time as well as manpower in effectively controlling the visitors to comply with “Safety Standards” required before entering the JNCH. Many CB’s staff – the regulars, have also applauded EIC’s efforts for providing them with these “Sanitizing Stands” which are most required for their own as well as others safety! Hand Sanitizers were also presented at BCBA room used by CB Boys and promised to place Hand Sanitizing Stand by this weekend.

Mr. Srikant Bhagavatula – Co-Founder and Secretary – Exim Integrated Club, said “I’m most happy today to see visitors of all hue’s using these sanitizing stands even before these were installed! Furthermore, they were immediately used by CB staff as well as officials immediately after they were installed across JNCH.” What more can EIC ask for! We achieved our goal! Mr. Nimish Desai – Advisor EIC, Mumbai lead from the front in getting us the permission as well as arranging for a quick distribution of Sanitizing Stands across key locations attracting maximum foot falls – for effectively helping the visitors. Mr. Anand Paranjape – Founder EIC, has always played an active role in sourcing and arrange for these Sanitizing Stands at a very short notice based on ground reports of how important these would be in helping CB Staff and other visitors. He further said, EIC will be distributing these stands to be placed at all CFS’s as part of their support to be with the Field Operation Teams and their effective safety.

Entire Team of EIC, jointly requests trade to please “Maintain Social Distancing and use sanitizers regularly during your visits to ensure you “Stay Safe! Stay Fit!” for your own sake as well as your Family. Your safety and wellbeing is of priority importance to us all!

EIC has also presented and installed these stands at GST Bhava, Pune Customs & GST Headquarters at Pune, ICD Dighi operated by Dynamic Logistics, ICD Talegoan operated by KSH.
