PANJI - N. Vinodkumar, IPoS, has assumed charge as Chairperson, Mormugao Port Authority, Goa, one of the Major Ports in the Country functioning under the Administrative Control of Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India, today (03.04.2023).

N. Vinodkumar belongs to the 1994 Batch of Indian Postal Service and was empanelled as Joint Secretary to the Government of India in 2017. Hailing from Kerala, he completed under graduation in science with 4th position at the University of Kerala and improved it to 3rd position during the post-graduation. He won the University Grants Commission, India Junior Research Fellowship to continue his research work in science, and was awarded Ph.D. in Geology.

After a brief stint with Indian Customs, he joined the Indian Postal Service in 1994 after getting selected through the Indian Civil Service Exam held in 1993. Since then, he has been working in various capacities in India Post, Ministry of Communications & IT, Government of India.
