MUMBAI : The Directorate General of Shipping is in the process of amending the Multimodal Transportation of Goods Act, 1993. The draft amendments proposed in consultation with the stakeholders are placed on the DGS website for information and comments if any. The annexure contains text of the existing Multimodal Transportation of Goods Act, 1993 with proposed amendments in bold letters. The proposed amendments will form part of the Multimodal Transportation of Goods (Amendment) Bill.
