MUMBAI : The Directorate General of Shipping (DG Shipping) has issued an important update regarding the migration of seafarer profiles from the existing DG Shipping portal to the newly launched e-Samudra portal, aimed at streamlining digital maritime services.
DG Shipping has clarified that seafarers are not required to update their complete profiles at this stage. For the ongoing migration process, seafarers are only advised to ensure that their registered mobile number and email ID are accurate and active on the existing DG Shipping portal.
