Gandhidham - Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 12th Feb with Ujjas Mahila Sangathan (UMS), a leading Kutch-based women’s organization, to establish a dedicated centre for women empowerment in Gopalpuri as part of DPA’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Ujjas Mahila Sangathan, which has been working for women’s economic, social, and political empowerment since 1989, will utilize the centre to provide skill development, livelihood training, legal aid, and health awareness programs. With a total funding commitment of ₹119.48 lakhs
