Beijing - COSCO Shipping Ports handled 80.16 million TEUs in the first half of 2026, marking a 7.9% year-on-year increase from 74.30 million TEUs in the corresponding period last year. The company reported the figures in its interim results for the six months ended June 30.
Throughput at terminals where COSCO Shipping Ports holds controlling interests rose 2.5% to 16.89 million TEUs, while non-controlling terminals recorded stronger growth of 9.4% to 63.26 million TEUs. Equity throughput increased 7% to 24.49 million TEUs.
