MUMBAI: COSCO Shipping Lines (India) hosted a trade party in Mumbai on 23rd June, 2017 on the launch of its new GEM2 (Gulf Europe and Mediterranean) service connecting South Asia and East Mediterranean.
With this new launch, COSCO Shipping Lines will be able to optimize the network between South Asia and Mediterranean and significantly enhance connections between the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Europe, providing more diversified services to its customers.
The service will comprise 5 x 4,250TEU vessels operating on fixed day weekly rotation, as follows:
Khor Fakkan – Karachi – Nhava Sheva – Mundra – Djibouti – Jeddah – Damietta – Piraeus – Malta – Aliaga – Mersin – Port Said West – Khor Fakkan.
