Continental Warehousing Corporation (Nhava Seva) celebrated the glorious sixth Anniversary of CFS

MUMBAI: Continental Warehousing Corporation (Nhava Seva) Ltd. organized a get together to celebrate the 6th Anniversary of CFS on Friday Feb 3, 2012 at ‘BLUE SEA’, Mumbai. It was a fantastic evening at CWC(NS)L!  Fun, music, dance, awards and accolades filled celebration made the glorious event successful. The celebration at CWC(NS)L was an unique platform which brings together the entire Maritime Fraternity clustered in one place to make the event more memorable. On behalf of CWC(NS)L, Ms. Freishia welcomed the guests of Shipping Family and media on this auspicious occasion of CWC(NS)L Stressing about CWC(NS)L, she said “CWC(NS)L, a leading pioneer in operation of Container Freight Stations at JNPT, which was commissioned in 2006 is celebrating the glorious sixth year”.
 
This would not have been possible without the indeed support of our customers and employees of CWC(NS)L.  For CWC(NS)L, “Customers is our ultimate”, adding, they are the backbone and strength for the company’s overall success. 
 
To raise the spirit of tempo of the event, the evening started with a spectacular belly dance which set the stage on fire. She came, she performed and she conquered the hearts of a spell bound audience. During this meticulously organized event, the guests revelled in the joy of some pulsating music and soul stirring dance performance. The guest were surprised for choice with awards, prizes and gifts as CWC(NS)L’s function brought loads of entertainment that swept invitees off their feet.
 
Moving ahead, CWC(NS)L felicitated some of the leading lights for the support to Multimodalism and their contribution to the company’s success. 
 
Mr. Dara K. Jalnawalla, Director of CWC(NS)L, whose vision and mission has made the company to achieve greater heights of success felicitated the top dignitaries of the Shipping Industry. 
 
He felicitated Capt. Avinash Batra, Chairman,  Seahorse Group with a bouquet & plaque  for his continuous support. Then Capt. Somesh Batra, Chairman, Yang Ming Line & Neil Hsu, MD, Yang Ming Line was felicitated with a bouquet and a plaque for his excellent work and support. Receiving the plaque, Capt. Somesh Batra said that, we have a excellent friendship relationship with CWC(NS)L.
 
Then Mr. Lin, Sheng-Chia (Tom Lin), President, Evergreen Line, Mr. Chen, Da-Kun, Jr. Vice President (logistics Dept), Evergreen Line and Mr. Chen Chi-Pin (Bear Chen), Dy, Jr. Vice President , Evergreen Line was also felicitated with a bouquet and plaque. Further, Mr. LEO Huang, Chief Representative of Wan Hai Lines were also felicitated with a bouquet and plaque. Along with Mr. R. P. Shroff & Mr. Anil Singh, APL India, Mr. Kaushik Bhattacharya, General Manager & Capt. Sanjay Gujral, Deputy General Manager of PIL was also felicitated with a bouquet and plaque on this special occasion. 
 
Interacting with Daily Shipping Times, Mr. Dara K Jalnawala, Director of CWC(NS)L, pointed out, “CWC(NS)L is planning to come out with CFS’s all over India with continuous support from our customers”. 
 
The company will expand its business and strengthen its position as an end-to-end logistics solutions provider, by developing rail-linked inland container depots across the country. The Continental aims to go public in the next 18 months to two years, he added.
 
Mr. N. Adikesavulu Reddy, CMD’s vision and mission has made the company to achieve and expand the business double the size. His hard work and dedication made impossible things possible. 
 
Continental Multimodal Terminals Ltd, part of the logistics solutions provider NDR Group, is in the process of setting up three terminals — at Chennai, Ahmedabad and Panipat — at a cost of Rs 300 crore in the next 12 months. 
 
The company, which set up its first terminal in Hyderabad, has plans to develop a network of 18 terminals across the country over the next five years. “The three new terminals will be immediately followed up with similar facilities in Bangalore and Tuticorin,”. The Hyderabad facility, which was recently notified as a private freight terminal by the South Central Railway, will also have an Inland Container Depot by next month. The ICD, spread over 75 acres, which has been designed to handle domestic & Exim cargo.
 
Having invested Rs 130 crore for setting up the facility, the company is investing another Rs 80 crore to expand the terminal capacity in the next one year. “Right now, we can handle 60 trains a month at the facility. After the expansion, the capacity will double to 120 trains,”
