MUMBAI:Continental Transport Organisation Pvt. Ltd, one of the leading transport companies based in Mumbai, recently successfully executed another project when it moved an over-dimensional cargo from Murbad to Mumbai Port.
It was a movement that required delicate handling given the sheer size of the cargo – a boiler , longest equipment of 40 metres long, 4.5 metres in diameter and weighing 85 tonnes. However, the job was professionally carried out by the expert team of Continental, to the satisfaction of all concerned.
The shipper of the consignment was Linde Engg, India and it was destined for Linde Engineering, Houston (Texas), the US.
This was another feather in the cap of Continental Transport Organisation, which specialises in such projects and has skillfully handled many of them.
The company has all the requisite equipment to successfully handle such projects, among them being 120 axles and 11 prime movers.
