Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji inaugurated Jalna Dry Port facility through Video Conference on 12/03/2024 with the physical presence of Shri Nitin Gadkari ji, Minister of Road Transport and Highways and Shri Raosaheb Patil Danve, Union Minister of state for Railways, Coal and Mines & Member of Parliament (Jalna). CONCOR has been handed over with LOA (Letter of Award) for Operations & Maintenance of MMLP Jalna after emerging as the highest bidder in tender floated by NHLML, a subsidiary of National Highway Authority of India. Jalna Dry Port is a state of art MMLP facility situated at Jalna in spread over around 427 Acre Area near Aurangabad in Maharashtra. Jalna hinterland is a steel hub of Marathwada & imports huge volume of scrap from JN Port. As of now CONCOR is catering to this area from its ICD at Maliwada , Aurangabad around 80 Km away from Jalna. After commencement of this facility , trade at Jalna would start availing CONCOR rail service till MMLP Jalna which is about 3 to 4 km from Industrisl Area of Jalna.
