Hubballi - In a significant development for domestic multimodal logistics in Karnataka, Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) has strengthened its rail-linked cargo network with the successful launch of a new domestic rail service from Hubballi.

The initiative saw the movement of the first container rake carrying pig iron from the MAKU railway siding in Karnataka to Ludhiana, marking an important step in enhancing industrial cargo connectivity between southern and northern India. The operation was carried out in coordination with South Western Railway, TCI CONCOR Multimodal Logistics, SLR Metallics and MSPL AHB.
