Companies in talks with Adani Ports to move cargo through road

APSEZ eyes strategic Trucking Alliances as Vizhinjam Port gears up for Direct Export-Import Cargo Handling

Mumbai - Around 10 companies are in discussion with Adani Ports to move their cargo by road when export-import cargo operations begin at Vizhinjam International Port by the end of the year. This will give many companies a direct link to Europe because they currently depend on feeder ships handling their import and export containers through Colombo or Vizhinjam. The companies are in the fields of apparel, retail, automotive and other manufacturing sectors.
