CMA CGM commences implementation of Digital Forwarding Note in North India

MUMBAI: CMA CGM Agencies (India) has recently announced that effective October 03, 2022 – CMA will be introducing the implementation of the Digital Forwarding Note or form-11 via the Odex platform in the ICD’s of Ludhiana, Jodhpur, Kanpur and Jaipur.
“The forwarding note will have to be applied via Odex and the User will need to log into their Odex A/C using their own Odex registered username and password.
“For 2 weeks, manual forwarding note will also be issued parallelly so that Users can familiarize themselves with the new process. Thereafter, respective ICD CMA appointed surveyor will accept only the digital forwarding note.
“Reefer Containers are exempted from the digital forwarding note,” said the advisory.  
Customers are also requested to note that forwarding note request can be made for vessels 10 Days prior to the ETD (subject to vessel schedule fluctuations)
