Anand Sheth conferred with Dynamic Personality of The Decade
MUMBAI: Chinubhai Kalidass & Bros. (CKB) was honoured with two prestigious accolades at the India Maritime Awards 3rd Edition held at St. Regis Hotel in Mumbai on 22nd June for being the Freight Forwarder of the Year (Containers) and Customs Broker of the Year (Containerised).
The Freight Forwarder of the Year (Containers) Award was presented to Mr. Anand Sheth and Mr. Darshan Sheth of CKB by Mr. George Abrao of Poseidon Shipping and Mr. Keyur Tharani of M Bhadrasinh & Company.
While the Customs Broker of the Year (Containerised) Award was presented to Mr. Anand Sheth, Mr. Darshan Sheth and Mr. Ashish Sheth of CKB by Ms. Malini Dutt of Antwerp Port and Mr. Deepak Shetty, IRS, Ex-DG Shipping.
Notably, CKB has been winning the Best Custom House Agent of the Year Award at Gujarat Star Awards since last five-Six years besides winning the Freight Forwarder of the Year and Customs Brokers of the Year Award at the first and second edition of India Maritime Awards.
Apart from bagging these two accolades, Mr. Anand Sheth was also conferred with “Dynamic Personality of The Decade” for his immense contribution to the Shipping and Logistics sector.
This award was presented by Mr. Ritesh Ramakrishnan of Transworld Group and Mr. S Varadarajan of Avana Logistek.
In fact, what started out as an entrepreneurial endeavor by two of its visionary founders, Late Shri Chinubhai Kalidass Sheth and Late Shri Surendrabhai Kalidass Sheth on 6th Feb 1917 in Mumbai celebrated a historic milestone of 100 years of Trust, Growth and Relationships with export-import community in the previous year.
With such an impeccable lineage coupled with strong credentials, today CKB is managed by the third generation of the SHETH family and is professionally managed by its Directors – Mr. Anand Sheth, Mr. Darshan Sheth, Mr. Ashish Sheth & Mr. Apurva Sheth.
