


Delhi - Union government-owned Visakhapatnam Port Authority is keen to invest about ₹1,500 crore for developing a mega port at Mulapeta in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh which is being constructed by the state government and has also applied to the Centre for transferring some 2,000 acres of salt land adjacent to the upcoming port for developing a Special Economic Zone or port-based industrial hub, multiple sources said.
