Hyderabad - A greenfield national highway that would link the Nizampatnam fishing harbor with the proposed Amaravati Outer Ring Road (ORR) has received in-principle clearance from the Union government. This move is anticipated to increase marine exports and tourism initiatives in the area.

Following several months of intensive research, the Center’s chosen consulting firm has suggested four potential highway alignments, accounting for distance, economic viability, and land acquisition expenses. The estimated cost of the proposed 48-kilometer greenfield highway is ₹1,400 crore, of which ₹300 crore will go towards purchasing land and the remaining sum . . .
