Boxco Logistics India moves the World’s Largest CCR reactor
MUMBAI: Boxco Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. moved the world’s longest CCR reactor for Godrej Process Equipment, a division of Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd.
The package which is 95 meters in Length and approx.. 703 MT weight was rolled on to its barge at the Godrej Jetty in Dahej using Boxco’s own SPMT’s and other equipment.
These packages are being shipped to the Dangote Refinery in Nigeria and J.M.Baxi & Co were the agents for this vessel.
This project was prestigious for Godrej & Boyce since this was the first shipment effected from the newly constructed Godrej jetty in Dahej.
A combination of 16 + 16 and 12 + 12 SPMT axles were configured for moving the CCR Reactor.
Packages were loaded on MV Happy Sky a Biglift Vessel on the 8th & 9th of January 2019 in Mumbai Port.
Conducting such an exercise from a jetty which was never used before brings its own set of challenges. Boxco teams experience and expertise helped to complete the operation with picture perfect precision, said a Company release.
