MUMBAI: The 68th Annual General Meeting of Bombay Overseas Freight Brokers Association (BOFBA) was held on October 13, 2023 at Hotel Krishna Palace in Mumbai. It saw participation from all the members of BOFBA. The Meeting was presided over by the BOFBA Managing Committee.
Addressing the meeting, the outgoing chairman Mr Keyur Tharani highlighted the current shipping scenario and advised members to keep themselves updated in the new fast-moving world of shipping and logistics. With India poised to grow in the coming years and the green initiative of European union which will be implemented in the near future, it was imperative for the members to flow with the tide of changes in the shipping industry. He also thanked the managing committee members for their excellent cooperation and support during his tenure as the Chairman of BOFBA.
The meeting elected the following members:-

Mr Anup Deosthalee - Hon.Secretary
Mr Krishnakumar Mody - Hon.Treasurer
Mr Tanay Gandhi - Committee Member
Mr Sanket Kayani - Committee Member
The Hon.Secretary proposed a Vote of Thanks after the AGM.
The Function was attended by Representatives of Various Trade organizations like Association of Multimodal Transport Operators of India (AMTOI) , Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce , Industry & Agriculture (MACCIA) , Calcutta Freight Brokers Association (CFBA) & Exim Integrated Club (EIC) to grace the Occasion along with a Host of other Dignitaries from the Trade.
The AGM was followed by Networking Get-Together, Cocktails and Dinner.
