BLR Airport surpasses 5 lakh tonne mark for the first time

Pune Airport International Cargo Operations begins with 3 import consignments in June

Bangalore - Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (BLR Airport) surpassed the 5 lakh tonnes mark for the first time, handling a total of 502,480 tonne of cargo in the financial year 2024-25 (FY’25). This marks a 14 percent year-on-year growth.

Cargo growth was driven by a 21 percent rise in international cargo, totalling 321,418 MT, while domestic cargo grew 4 percent, reaching 181,062 MT.
