MUMBAI : Bhavani Group through its CSR arm – Bhavani Foundation organised a Blood Donation camp on 19th January, 2019.

Bhavani Group Managing Director and Bhavani Foundation President Mr. K D Shetty chaired the camp along with Mr. Jeekshith Shetty, Director – Bhavani Group. The event was also graced by Dr. N Ramaswami, Commissioner of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, Mr. Rahul Gadapale, Chief Editor of Sakal Media Group, Dr. Pranita and Dr. Gaurav from Tata Memorial Hospital – Kharghar.

While addressing this camp, Dr. N Ramaswami said that Medical and Educational awareness are the two pillars of any strong society. He congratulated Bhavani Foundation for contributing immensely towards both these social causes.

Mr. Rahul Gadapale also congratulated Bhavani Foundation for their overall involvement in field of medicine, education and upliftment of people in tribal area. He felt proud to be associated with such a Foundation. 

Dr. Pranita of Tata memorial thanked the Managing Director of Bhavani Group, Mr. K D Shetty for his contribution to such a noble cause and said that these 111 units of blood donated will be helpful to threefold patients i.e. 333 patients.

Lastly, Mr. K D Shetty expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the donors and everyone at the premises who had come forward and served as a helping hand thus, donating 111 units of blood, said a company release.
