History is what makes us and what we write today will guide us through to tomorrow.... we start a new way of learning with a study series, studying is not a thing of the recent, it’s been done for generations, and today we go back to our roots and launch "Kastam Shiksha", derived from the term "Customs Education" in Sanskrit.
In this fast changing environment and the increasing level of compliance, the Training and Skill Development Committee of Brihanmumbai Custom Brokers Association BCBA launched on 17th October, 2020 "Kastam Shiksha" a study series to ensure that the industry upskill’ s and ensures that trade moves smoothly.
The online batch witnessed a wider participation which is being conducted by Training and Skill Development Committee of BCBA headed by President and Office Bearer in charge Mr. Dushyant Mulani and Training and Skill Development Committee Chairman, Mr. Tej Contractor.
The online session was inaugurated by BCBA President, Mr. Kiran Rambhia and Sr. Vice President Mr. Dushyant Mulani and other faculties of BCBA Training and Skill Development Committee Mr. Dushyant Mulani, Sr. Vice President, BCBA addressed the participants and shared his experience with the candidates about the intricacies involved.
The Study series focuses around the theme of Social learning to ensure that the industry continues to upskill themselves accordingly. The first session focused on the Importance of Customs (Administration of Rules of Origin under Trade Agreements) Rules, 2020 (CAROTAR, 2020) which was recently introduced, said a recent statement from BCBA.
