BCBA takes feedback and suggestions from members during it's 38th AGM for improving the Country's Logistics Performance Index

BCBA conducted its 38th Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) on 25th August 2023 at ITC Grand Central, Parel, Mumbai followed by the annual Cocktail and Dinner function. Addressing the gathering at the AGM, President, Mr. Dushyant Mulani mentioned about the remarkable achievements during the term and highlighted the crucial role & responsibility, sharing a very positive outlook for the future of Custom Brokers. Along with the President, Mr. Mulani, Sr Vice President, Mr. Sanjeev Harale, Vice Presidents, Mr. Vinayak Aparaj, Mr. Paresh Thakkar, Mr. Hiren Ruparel, Hon. Secretary, Mr. Nirav Thakker, Hon. Treasurer, Mr. Ganpat Korade and Hon Jt. Secretary, Mr. Ketan Desai were present on the dais.

Managing committee members of the Association along with Board of Advisors were seated at the front in the hall. Members present in the meeting appreciated the hard work and commitment of the entire team and highlighted that the team of Managing Committee members is always available to help. Members’ questions were well addressed, and suggestions were taken note. It was a well conducted meeting with wonderful arrangements for the attendees and post High Tea, the chief Guest for the event, Mr. Rajesh Pandey, Chief Commissioner of Customs, Mumbai Zone II gave his keynote speech and encouraged Customs Brokers to be self-resilient and adopt extensive use of technology for their growth and progress.

The session ended with a Vote of Thanks by Hon. Secretary, Mr. Nirav Thakker followed by the Annual Cocktail and Dinner function which was attended by Principal Chief Commissioner, Mumbai Zone 1 Mr. P.K. Agrawal and Chief Commissioner of Customs, Mum Zone 3, Smt. Prachi Swaroop along with Commissioners of Customs and other senior departmental officers, PGAs, eminent personalities from the various trade bodies as well as BCBA members. All the distinguished guest and dignitaries were felicitated by the BCBA team of Office Bearers and managing Committee Members. The event was a memorable one and well appreciated by the attendees.
