


Pipavav - APM Terminals Pipavav continues its commitment in boosting the economic contribution of women within their families and communities.
APM Terminals Pipavav is delighted to share significant progress:
β’ Along with two Skill & Entrepreneurship Development Centres at Rajula, innovative initiatives such as our Diamond Cutting and Polishing Unit for Women and a mobile tailoring lab set up in villages are helping women develop tailoring and embroidery skills, driving financial independence
β’ To date, we have skilled 3,236 youth (Men: 1,568; Women: 1,668) through these programs, achieving an 83% placement rate. In addition to skill-based employment, APM Terminals Pipavav has nurtured 382 women entrepreneurs, empowering them to launch and grow their businesses From 0% women participation in 2016β17, today we celebrate nearly 50% womenβs participation across our skill initiatives. This milestone was recently recognized by the Board of Directors: Samir Chaturvedi, Tim Smith, Soren Brandt. The Board visited SEDI Rajula, appreciating our collective efforts in women empowerment and skill development.
