MUMBAI: The 21st Annual General Meeting of the Members of the Association of Multimodal Transport Operators of India will be held via Virtual Platform on 16th September 2020 at 1500 hrs. The calendar invite and the link for the meeting will be sent out by a separate email closer to the date of the event.
AGENDA FOR THE MEETING
1. Welcome Address by the President
2. To confirm the Minutes of the Last Annual General Meeting (20th AGM) held on 8th August 2019.
3. To present the Annual Report for the term 2019 - 2020.
4. To adopt the Audited Balance Sheet and the Income & Expenditure Account for the year ending 31st March 2020, and the Auditors report thereon.
5. To Change and appoint auditors for the year 2020-21 and fix their remuneration.
6. To Change and appoint Company Secretary for the year 2020 – 2021 and fix their remuneration.
7. To announce the results of the Election of the Managing Committee Members of the year 2020-21
a) Any other business with the permission of the Chair
8. Announcement of Awards to those members who have completed 25/50/100/125 years in the Business
9. Vote of thanks by the Hon. Secretary
In the absence of required Quorum, the meeting will be adjourned for 30 minutes.
All eligible Members (Members who do not have any pending dues as on 31st March 2020) are requested to attend the Annual General Meeting and the Link for the same shall be shared with all in due course.
Brief Profile of Shri Sureshbhai Parekh
Mr. Suresh Parekh is a legend of our industry and as such needs no introduction. Fondly known as Sureshbhai or SMP to his fellow industry members he has been a part of our industry for over 45 years! He is a graduate with microbiology as his main subject. During his career he has been involved in the creation and growth of one of the leading maritime family business’ having diversified interests in shipping agency, forwarding, warehousing, container freight stations, ship owning including marine terminal management and hotels. He has changed more lines of activities than most businessmen can ever dream of but all within the purview of the family business. A firm believer that “an executioner can be hired easily but getting a professional creator for mid-size businesses is not easy“ he is an avid reader and an introvert by nature. He will be sharing his rich experience on the below topics:

Brief Profile of Shri Tigmanshu Dhulia
Mr. Tigmanshu Dhulia is an Indian film dialogue writer, director, actor, screenwriter, producer, casting director, YouTuber and thought leader.
Proud alumni of National School of Drama in New Delhi, he shifted to Mumbai and debuted in the
film industry as a casting director in “Bandit Queen” working alongside acclaimed director Shekhar Kapur. His directing career has garnered international recognition with his movies being screened at many prestigious events.
His movie, Paan Singh Tomar has also won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in 2012. His movies have always charmed the audiences and critics alike, and won several accolades at award functions such as Filmfare and Stardust, to name a few.
A multi-faceted personality, Tigmanshu Dhulia is no stranger to OTT platforms and has directed for Hotstar and other digital platforms.
In his free time, he loves to read, travel and meet new people. He brings to the table how COVID-19 has affected the film industry.
