MUMBAI: The Team Captains of all 64 Teams were present along with Association of Multimodal Transport Operators of India (AMTOI) President and other Managing Committee Members.
As with every event connected with ACT, all present first took the ACT Pledge.
The Game rules were once again explained in detail, followed by the ceremonial unveiling of the gleaming , silver ACT Trophy which generated immense excitement amongst the Teams.
The DRAWS commenced with the introduction of a new TUNE selected specially for ACT.
As every person present waited with eager anticipation as to which team is going to be pitted against whom, the Draw chits were picked up by the President and the MCM and read aloud.
Every draw drew loud cheers and thunderous clapping especially when the LUCKY 8 Teams who are to play on the Opening Ceremony were announced.
As the huge Draw boards started filling up with Team names, the enthusiasm and energy was palpable.
The draws finally ended with Chatpata & Taaza Chaat Pe Charcha accompanied with a gentle breeze and twinkling lights at the venue- mirroring the emotions of all participants.
