The Association of Multimodal Transport Operators of India (AMTOI) has officially announced the return of its highly anticipated bi-annual sporting event. In a strategic move to evolve the competition’s identity, the association has rebranded the "AMTOI Cricket Tournament" (ACT) to the AMTOI Cricket Carnival (ACC).
The transition to the "Carnival" moniker reflects a shift in focus toward a more inclusive, festive, and high-energy atmosphere, aiming to blend competitive spirit with industry camaraderie and family engagement.
Tournament Scale and Format
The fourth season of this flagship event is set to be its most ambitious yet. Scheduled for March 1, 2026, the one-day extravaganza will take over the St. Andrews Turf Park in Bandra (West).
The tournament will follow a knock-out format, featuring a total of 48 teams:
- Men’s Division: 40 Teams
- Women’s Division: 8 Teams
Each team will consist of 8 players, exclusively representing and sponsored by AMTOI member companies. The inclusion of a dedicated women’s division underscores the association's commitment to diversity within the logistics and multimodal sectors.
A Tradition of Excellence
Since its inception, the tournament has seen "tremendous response," becoming a fixture on the industry calendar. The rebranding was a natural progression to meet the growing enthusiasm of member companies who view the day as more than just a series of matches, but as a vital networking and team-building platform.
Registration Details
With the event restricted to member companies, slots are expected to fill rapidly. AMTOI has set a hard deadline for registrations:
- Closing Date: 10th January 2026
- Location: St. Andrews School Ground, St. Dominic Road, Bandra (W)
- Inquiries: Interested members can reach the AMTOI office at info@amtoi.org.
The ACC Season 4 promises to be a landmark day for the Mumbai logistics community, combining the intensity of the pitch with the vibrant spirit of a carnival.
