SURAT: Adani Hazira Port Private limited (AHPPL) organized an event with theme of “Partners In Progress” on 5th June 2015 to felicitate stake holders who have contributed towards the significant growth of port in FY 2014 -15.
Mr. Ennarasu Karunesan, COO & Head Container Business, in his keynote address thanked all the stakeholders for their valuable support to AHPPL and shared with trade that AHPPL has developed Container terminal infrastructure with required connectivity proactively so that trade will not face any bottlenecks while exporting or importing their shipments at Hazira. He also urged all stakeholders to give their suggestions & feedback for improvement in existing infrastructure and future requirements if any.
Mr. Shahzad Athar, AGM Container Marketing, Mr. Amit Gautam, AGM Bulk Marketing and Mr. Kashyap Desai, AVP Liquid Marketing gave presentation to showcase growth in Container, Bulk & Liquid business at Hazira for FY 2014-15.
They also shared further infrastructure developments planned for FY 2015 -16.
Mr. Harikrishnan Sundaram, GM Business Development - Container Terminals, shared insight on developments happened on Far East & Europe Direct Connectivity from Hazira.
Mr. Vijayant Singh, Joint Commissioner & Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Hazira Customs addressed the trade and thanked them for their support to Hazira. They also shared that Hazira Customs is taking proactive steps to increase staff strength at Hazira and has provided DPD facility for Import ACP Clients. They assured the trade about complete support of Hazira Customs to further develop Export-Import trade at Hazira.
