GANDHIDHAM : ABG Kandla Container Terminal state-of-art facility on August 23, 2012 saw the berthing of vessel m.v. BSL GUJARAT by Balaji Shipping Lines, with capacity of 1623 TEUs and LOA of 193 meters.
Vessel on AGS service will connect Kandla to Jebel Ali, Sohar and Dammam.
Mr. Balleshwar Khochare Terminal Manager ABG Kandla Container Terminal said on this occasion, “I am delighted to have this new service calling at Kandla which is going to add more capacity for the customers looking for additional capacity for Gulf and Upper Gulf destinations from Kandla”.
ABGKCTL has already two services calling for gulf like KMX and KMJ service. Addition of AGS service will give opportunity to large number of customers from Gujarat, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Rajasthan to move cargo from Kandla which is nearest port to all other ports in Gujarat.
With all other advantages ABGKCTL is strategically located in the Gulf of Kutch. The terminal has already established as preferred facility for moving cargo to Gulf, Upper Gulf with Europe and African countries with major stake in coastal cargo.
