New Delhi - The government has informed the Rajya Sabha that 78 projects under the Sagarmala Programme have been completed, while more than 40 projects are currently under implementation across coastal States and Union Territories.
According to the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, 124 projects have been sanctioned so far under the Sagarmala scheme, with a total cost of ₹8,670 crore. The Centre has committed ₹3,238 crore as its share, of which ₹2,838 crore has already been released to States and implementing agencies.
