Chennai - Engineering goods exports from India continued their strong performance in late 2025, supported by robust demand from key global markets and strategic contributions from state-level initiatives, particularly those in Tamil Nadu.

According to recent export data, India’s engineering goods sector has remained a cornerstone of the country’s merchandise shipments, maintaining its position as one of the top export categories. Engineering goods accounted for approximately 26.7 percent of India’s total exports in FY 2024-25, with shipments valued at over $116 billion, reinforcing the sector’s resilience and global competitiveness.
