Floods bring logistics to a grinding halt in Bangladesh

SMP Kolkata in talks with Bangladesh Government for dry bulk cargo export

Dhaka - Shortage of vehicles is negatively impacting the movement of cargo causing congestion and the situation will only worsen if the logistics doesn’t open up soon.

Flooded roads and submerged tracks have disconnected the Chittagong city from rest of the country. The imported and export cargo has been stockpiling in different Storage Depot including the Chattogram Port yard. Shortage of vehicles is negatively impacting the movement of cargo causing congestion and the situation will only worsen if the logistics doesn’t open up soon.
