Vibrant Gujarat 2013 to focus on knowledge-led partnerships: Narendra Modi

AHMEDABAD: The countdown has finally begun for the most anticipated business event of the year on  11-13 Jan, 2013, from business tycoons to heads of State to top diplomats, all roads will lead to Gandhinagar where the 2013 Vibrant Gujarat Summit will be held.  
 
The biennial global investor summit, organised by the Gujarat Government, will be held from January 11 to 13, 2013. The Vibrant Gujarat 2013 Summit is going to be transformational and revolutionary – both in its coverage and scale. It will provide a platform for various states of India and other countries to cooperate and explore attractive business opportunities.
 
The Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit 2013 will be attended by top-level delegates of over 100 nations!
 
Many heads of state will also be attending the 3-day summit The Gujarat Government has realized the importance of forging knowledge based strategic partnerships and the value created by it for the industries and the society.
 
Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi  said that the upcoming summit will solely focus on forging knowledge based strategic partnerships and global collaborations.
 
The previous summits focused on mobilizing a series of investments across the industry sectors of Gujarat.
 
He said that his Government is committed to explore new dimensions offered by such valuablecollaborations.
 
Industry captains from companies Tata Group, Reliance Industries, ADA Group, Essar Group, Ford Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra are also going to be present.
 
Most notable, international port authorities and port operators will share technical and management expertise with private port operators in Gujarat. With visionary policies and proactive measures, GMB has firmly established Gujarat as the numero-uno maritime State in the country.
 
With Gujarat rising as the economic powerhouse of India, the business outfits from developed economies like the UK and the US have announced their partnership with the Government of Gujarat. Considering the focus on knowledge-based partnerships, one of the most important events is the International Conference on Academic Institutions (ICAI) where-in Gujarat based universities will be setting up collaborations with foreign universities. 
 
One of the other major highlights of the summit is the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show spread across an area of more than 100,000 square meters that has participation from more than 1,000 companies from more than 25 sectors & 14 countries.
