MSC to commence regular Weekly Service from Krishnapatnam Port

MUMBAI: The Mediterranean Shipping Co. (MSC) has announced its regular weekly service from Krishnapatnam Port Container Terminal (KPCT).
 
 This is the first export call by MSC and it plan to start from October 29.
 
The impending commencement of its regular weekly service will be calling every Monday at the facility.
 
The service will have the rotation of Colombo, Krishnapatnam, Chennai, Colombo, with further worldwide coverage of ports  through  MSC's extensive network of services for both dry and reefer cargo, highlighted an official release.
 
The sectors will be catered for both exports and imports, at Krishnapatnam Port include Europe, North and South America, East and South Africa, North and West Africa, Red Sea and Gulf, Far East and China, Australia and New Zealand.
 
 Further, Colombo will continue to be the main transhipment hub. 
 
MSC will also serve via Singapore (on commercial feeder) to Far East China and the US primarily for reefers.
 
Empties are available for both dry and reefers at Krishnapatnam, the release said.
