Mumbai - The Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) is planning to conduct its first hyperloop freight trial in Mumbai, exploring the technology for high-throughput container movement as a next-generation logistics solution.
CWC has placed an order with TuTr Hyperloop, a start-up associated with IIT Madras, for the pilot project. The proposed trial is being evaluated for a route connecting a Mumbai port with a CWC facility in the city, according to CWC Managing Director Santosh Sinha.
