Mumbai Port explores Japan Partnership for Vision 2047 Waterfront Redevelopment

Mumbai - The Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA) is exploring a strategic collaboration with Japan’s Urban Renaissance Agency (UR) to support major waterfront redevelopment and port-city integration projects envisioned under its Vision 2047 Master Plan.

During a high-level meeting held in Japan on Wednesday, MbPA Chairman M Angamuthu and UR Director General Takehiro Umezu discussed opportunities for cooperation in waterfront transformation, integrated mobility planning, urban design, and sustainable development of port-linked areas.
