
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : Vizhinjam International Seaport crossed a new milestone in May 2026, handling 1,30,863 TEUs across 55 vessels, its highest-ever monthly container throughput.
Since operations began in July 2024, the port has handled 961 vessels and over 20.18 lakh TEUs, reflecting the growing scale and momentum of India’s newest transshipment hub.
