Mumbai - Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA) had the privilege of hosting a delegation from the United States Coast Guard (USCG) on April 24, 2026, under the International Port Security (IPS) Program, in close coordination with the Director General of Maritime Administration (DGMA).

The USCG delegation:

The visit was facilitated with active participation from Capt. Pravin Kumar Singh, Deputy Conservator, Mumbai Port Authority, Capt. PramodPrabhakarKini, Port Facility Security Officer Mumbai Port &Asstt. Commissioner Port, and Capt. NitinMukesh, Deputy Nautical Advisor-cum-Senior Deputy Director General of Maritime Administration (DGMA), reflecting strong inter-agency coordination.

Key areas of engagement included:

* Review of port operations and infrastructure at MbPA

* Assessment of ISPS Code implementation and security governance

* Access control systems, surveillance, and training protocols

* Emergency preparedness and inter-agency drill mechanisms

* Cybersecurity framework and emerging threats
