Shri Amit Shah, Hon'ble Home Minister, Govt. Of India,  inaugurated the fourth edition of India Maritime Week, 2025 in the presence of Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Hon'ble Chief Minister, Govt. of Maharashtra, Shri Eknath Shinde, Dy. Chief Minister, Govt. Of Maharashtra and Shri Ajit Pawar, Dy. Chief Minister, Govt. Of Maharashtra at NESCO Ground, Mumbai on 27th October 2025.

        This was followed by the inauguration of Mumbai Port Authority stall by Dr. M. Angamuthu, IAS, Chairperson along with Shri Adesh Titarmare, IAS, Dy. Chairperson.

         Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA) has signed 64 numbers of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for the investment amounting ₹77,000 crores, reaffirming its commitment towards port modernisation, Port led industrialisation, sustainable development, shipping, trade and business, ship building and repairs, knowledge transfer, technology development and digitalisation. These agreements reflect MbPA’s continued efforts to enhance maritime trade, promote port-led development, and attract private participation in various sectors under the Government of India’s vision for Blue Economy growth.
