New Delhi - The White House has taken a firm stance against India’s tariffs on American agricultural products, calling them a major barrier to trade. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said on Monday that India imposes a 100% tariff on US farm goods, making exports “virtually impossible.”President Donald Trump has repeatedly criticised India’s trade policies and is set to introduce reciprocal tariffs on 2 April, which he has dubbed "Liberation Day" for the US economy.
