New Gemini Cooperation between Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd will deploy 4-5% extra capacity on India-EU route

Mumbai - Gemini Cooperation, a new global ocean network operational collaboration between Denmark’s Maersk A/S and Germany’s Hapag-Lloyd AG, will be launched from 1 February, with the alliance deploying 4-5% additional capacity on the India-European Union (EU) trades backed by three mainline services on this key trade lane for India’s exporters and importers.

The three dedicated Europe Services from India will connect Mundra, Jawaharlal Nehru and Ennore (near Chennai) ports with Port Tangier, Valencia, Port Said, Algeciras, Rotterdam, London Gateway, Bremerhaven and Hamburg ports, Maersk said.
