
Vizag - International air cargo operations will soon resume at Vizag airport and Andhra Pradesh Trade Promotion Corporation (APTPC) has stepped forward to take charge of managing cargo operations.
According to experts, pharmaceutical products, textiles, and seafood such as shrimp, which previously lacked efficient transport options due to the absence of this facility, will now benefit greatly from this initiative. The lack of international cargo facilities since 2019-20, when Visakhapatnam Airport last handled 470 tonnes of international cargo, has been a pressing concern in business circles.
