Kerala Coastal Zone Management Authority recommends Centre to give green clearance for Vizhinjam port phase II & III

Thiruvananthapuram - The second and third phases of the Vizhinjam Port received a boost as the Kerala Coastal Zone Management Authority (KCZMA), functioning under the department of environment and climate change, recommended Centre to approve the Environment and CRZ clearance for the port’s expansion. After KCZMA gave the recommendation to the ministry ofenvironment and forests (MoEF) at the end of last month, Vizhinjam International Seaport Ltd (VISL) submitted the application on Centre’s portal on Jan 4.
