Navi Mumbai – Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), that handles India’s Largest Container Port, created the History when it registered its highest ever Throughput of 6.4 Mn TEUs (till 29th March) in 2023-24. This New Milestone was achieved under the Dynamic Leadership of Shri Unmesh Sharad Wagh, IRS, Chairman-in-Charge JNPA.
Terminal Wise : BMCT handled 2.02 Mn TEUs, GTI handled 1.56 Mn TEUs, NSICT handled 1.12 Mn TEUs, NSIGT handled 1.10 Mn TEUs and NSFT handled approximately 0.5 Mn TEUs during the last fiscal year 2023-24.
In terms of Total Tonnage, JNPA handled around 85.4 MMT during last fiscal year as against 83.86 MMT during its previous corresponding period.
Total Number of Vessels handled at JNPA was around 2024 till March 29th 2024.
