
Beijing - On the morning of November 17, 2023, the 2,700 TEU newly built container ship, "CUL SHEKOU," a collaboration between CULines and CSSC Huangpu Wenchong, was successfully named and delivered at the Nansha Longxue Shipyard of CSSC Huangpu Wenchong.
The ceremony was attended by Professor Shan Hongjun, President of Dalian Maritime University(DMU), Chairman Huang Ming of CSSC Huangpu Wenchong, Vice President Zhao Yan of China Classification Society (CCS), Deputy General Manager Zhang Yi of China Merchants Port (South China) Operating Center, Deputy Chief Engineer Zhou Lanxin of Shanghai Merchant Ship Design and Research Institute (SDARI), General Manager Zhang Xiaoxi of Huaguang Ship Management (China) Company, Deputy General Manager Wang Xiaohua of Shanghai Huayang Maritime, Chairman Raymond Chen, and President Kevin Ding of CULines, as well as partners, media friends, and employee representatives of CULines.

Professor Cheng Xin from the School of Foreign Languages at DMU served as the ship's godmother, naming the new vessel, cutting the lines, and performing the champagne christening.
