MUMBAI : JNPT received the ‘Indira Gandhi Rajbhasha Puraskar' in the category of autonomus bodies of "B" region in a function held at New Delhi.
The award was received by Shri L. Radhakrishnan, IAS, Chairman, JNPT from H. E. Shri Pranab Mukherjee, President of India, in the presence of Shri Sushil Kumar Shinde, Union Home Minister, Govt. of India.
JNPT bagged this award continuously for last six years in row for its initiatives of implementation of the national language.
